Archilochian, a.|ɑːkɪˈləʊkɪən| [f. L. Archilochī-us (f. Gr. ἀρχίλοχος) + -an.] Pertaining to, or derived from, Archilochus, an early Greek satiric poet, the alleged originator of iambic metre.
