phosphor-roesslerite Min.|fɒsfəˈrøsləraɪt| Also phosphorrösslerite. [ad. G. phosphorrösslerit (Friedrich & Robitsch 1939, in Zentralbl. für Min., Geol., und Paläont. A. 143), f. phosphor phosphorus: see roesslerite.] A hydrated acid phosphate of magnesium, MgH(PO4).7H2O, that is isomorphous with rösslerite and occurs as monoclinic crystals that are usually discoloured by impurities and that lose water on exposure to air.
