physiognomist|fɪzɪˈɒgnəmɪst, -ˈɒnəmɪst| [a. OF. physionomiste (1557 in Godef. Compl.), f. physionomie: see -ist.] One skilled in physiognomy; one who reads character or disposition (or, formerly, professed to foretell destiny) from the face.
