Piesporter, n.|ˈpiːzpɔːtə(r), ˈpiːs-| [a. Ger., ‘(wine) of Piesport’, f. Piesport, the name of a village near Trier in western Germany, + -er adj. suffix.] A white Moselle wine produced in the Piesport region.
