pinipicrin Chem.|paɪnɪˈpɪkrɪn| [f. L. pīn-us pine + Gr. πικρ-ός bitter + -in.] A bitter substance (C22H36O11) obtained from the needles and bark of Scotch fir (Pinus sylvestris), and the leaves of the American Arbor-vitæ (Thuja occidentalis).
