ˈpitch-up, n. Aeronaut. [f. pitch v.1 + up adv.1] A sudden, uncontrolled, upward pitch of an aircraft, esp. as experienced during a climb or descent; (a tendency towards) deviation of this nature. Cf. pitch v.1 19 f.
