politzerize, v.|pəʊˈlɪtsəraɪz| [f. name of Adam Politzer, a physician of Vienna, who introduced the method: see -ize.] trans. To inflate the tympanic cavity of (a patient) through the Eustachian tube. Hence poˈlitzerizing vbl. n.; also poˌlitzeriˈzation.
