▪ I. pomeys, pomeis, n. pl. Her.|ˈpəʊmɪs| Also sing. (in Dicts.) 8 pomey, 8–9 pomme. [Of uncertain form, app. only in plural, which may possibly be an antiquated spelling of pommes; cf. later quots.] The name given to roundels when of a green colour.
