‖ postscutellum Entom.|-skjuːˈtɛləm| Also in anglicized form postˈscutel. [mod.L., f. post- A. 2 + scutellum.] The fourth (hindmost) piece or sclerite of each of the segments of the thorax in an insect, situated behind the scutellum.
