Of, pertaining to, or characteristic of, the period after a war (esp. those of 1914–18 or 1939–45); post-war credit, a system of additional personal taxation introduced by the British Government in 1941 to supplement wartime expenditure and repayable during the post-war period; a sum of money or promissory note associated with this scheme.
