precuneus, præ- Anat.|prɪˈkjuːniːəs| [f. L. præ pre- B. 3 + cuneus: see cuneate a.] The quadrate lobule of the brain, situated immediately in front of the cuneate lobule. Hence preˈcuneal a., of or pertaining to the precuneus (Cent. Dict. 1890).
