arsanilic, a. Chem.|ɑːsəˈnɪlɪk| [f. arsenic + anilic a.; cf. G. arsanilsäure (Ehrlich and Bertheim 1907, in Chem. Zentralbl. II. 898).] Of or derived from arsenic acid and aniline, esp. arsanilic acid, C6H8O3NAs ({b2} NH2.C6H4.AsO(OH)2), a compound used in the preparation of arsenicals.
