a. trans. To render Protestant; to convert to or permeate with the principles of Protestantism.
b. intr. To follow Protestant practices. Hence ˈProtestanˌtized ppl. a., ˈProtestanˌtizing vbl. n. and ppl. a.; also ˈProtestanˌtizer, one who protestantizes.
