rhodanthe|rəʊˈdænθiː| [mod.L. (J. Lindley 1835, in Edwards's Bot. Reg. XX. 1703), f. Gr. ῥόδον rose + ἄνθος flower.] An annual herb, Helipterum (formerly Rhodanthe) manglesii, belonging to the family Compositæ, native to Australia, and bearing pink everlasting flowers.
