rhombiferan, a. and n. Palæont.|rɒmˈbɪfərən| Also Rhombiferan. [f. as rhombifer + -an.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to a group of cystoid echinoderms whose calyx plates are penetrated by groups of tubes forming a rhombic pattern. B. n. A rhombiferan echinoderm.
