Prozymite Eccl. Hist.|ˈprɒzɪmaɪt| [ad. late Gr. προζυµίτης, f. προζύµιον leaven, f. πρό before, etc. + ζύµη leaven.] One who uses leavened bread in the Eucharist: a hostile appellation for members of the Greek Church. (Cf. Azymite.)
