pseuˈdologer [f. Gr. ψευδολόγ-ος speaking falsely, a liar + -er1.] A maker of false statements, a (systematic) liar. So pseudoˈlogical a. [cf. Gr. ψευδολογικ-ός false], pertaining or relating to pseudology (hence pseudoˈlogically adv.); pseuˈdologist [in Gr. ψευδολογιστ-ής], (a) = pseudologer; (b) one versed in pseudology (sense 2).
