beslobber, v.|bɪˈslɒbə(r)| Also 4–5 bislaber. [f. be- 1 + slobber v.] To wet and befoul with saliva (= to beslaver), or with portions of liquid food escaping from the mouth; to kiss like a drivelling child; hence, to kiss childishly or effusively; fig. to cover with fulsome flattery.
