‖ pudendum|pjuːˈdɛndəm| Usually in pl. pudenda. [L., neuter gerundive of pudēre to cause shame, ashame, lit. ‘that of which one ought to be ashamed’, used as n., commonly in pl.] a. The privy parts; the external genital organs, esp. those of a woman.
