Safaitic, a.|sæfəˈɪtɪk| Also Safahitic. [f. the Arab. place-name Safa in Syria, SE of Damascus + -itic (see -ite1).] Of or pertaining to an ancient Semitic language known only from inscriptions probably of the first centuries ad discovered near Safa.
