‖ pumilio, pumilo Obs. rare. Also pomilio. [L. pūmiliō, pūmilō a dwarf, f. pūmilis: see prec. Cf. obs. It. pomilione ‘a Dwarfe or Pigmey’ (Florio 1611).] A dwarf; a diminutive person, or plant.
