Bolognese, a. and n. (bɒləˈn(j)eɪz, ‖ boloˈɲeze) [a. It. Bolognese: see Bologna + -ese.] A. adj. Of or belonging to, made in or obtained from, Bologna in the north of Italy, or its school of painting.
