1. ‘Excessively great venereal desire in the male. Also, synonym for Priapism’ (Syd. Soc. Lex. 1897).
1657W. Coles Adam in Eden cclxxx, Being put into Plaisters and applyed to the Reines, it helpeth the Satyriasis or continuall standing of the Yard. 1696Floyer On the Humours (J.), If the chyle be very plentiful it breeds a satyriasis. 1874Bucknill & Tuke Man.
