Bothrodendron Bot.|bɒθrəʊˈdɛndrɒn| [mod.L., f. Gr. βόθρος pit + δένδρον tree.] A genus of fossil plants, found in coal measures (cf. lepidodendron); also (with lower-case initial), a plant of this genus.
