‖ prestomium, præ-|priːˈstɒmɪəm| [mod.L., f. pre- B. 3 + Gr. στόµιον, dim. of στόµα mouth.] The anterior segment of the head of an annelid, bearing the eyes and tentacles. Hence preˈstomial a., of or pertaining to the prestomium.
