bradypod, -pus|ˈbrædɪpɒd, -pəs| [ad. Gr. βραδύπους, -ποδ- slow-footed, f. βραδύ-ς slow + πούς foot.] A member of the family of edentate mammal quadrupeds represented by the Sloth. Hence braˈdypodal a., pertaining to the bradypods.
