brewpub, n. orig. and chiefly N. Amer. Brit. |ˈbruːpʌb|, U.S. |ˈbruˌpəb| [‹ brew v. + pub n.1, after brewhouse n.] A public house, often including a restaurant, selling beer that has been brewed on the premises. Cf. microbrewery n.
