bridoon, bradoon|brɪˈduːn, brəˈduːn| [a. F. bridon in same sense, deriv. of bride a bridle.] 1. ‘The snaffle and rein of a military bridle, which acts independently of the bit, at the pleasure of the rider’. Stocqueler.
