Broederbond,, n. S. Afr. (ˈbruːdəbɔnd, ‖ ˈbrudərbɒnt) [a. Afrikaans, f. broeder brother n. + bond league.] A largely secret society (founded in 1918) promoting the interests of and restricted in membership to male, Protestant Afrikaners.
