scratched, ppl. a.|skrætʃt| [-ed1.] 1. a. In senses of the verb scratch. scratched figure (Typogr.): A numeral figure with a slanting line drawn across it, used in printing examples of arithmetical operations involving cancelling. scratched blue = scratch blue.
