† bull-tour Obs. [App. f. bull n.1 4 + tour. R. Holme (cf. bull-head 3, quot. 1688) referred it to ‘F. taure, a bull’, but see Littré s.v. tour.] A mass of frizzled hair worn (by a woman) on the forehead; a frowze, or ‘frizz’.
