searlesite Min.|ˈsɜːlzaɪt| [f. the name of John W. Searles, who put down the well in California from which the first specimen came: see -ite1.] A hydrated borosilicate of sodium, NaBSi2O6.H2O, occurring as white monoclinic crystals.
