† seˈductor Obs. Also 5–6 seductour. [a. OF. seducteur, ad. L. sēductor, agent-noun f. sēdūcĕre: see seduce and -or.] One who seduces, a misleader, seducer. In the 15–16th c. frequently in the set phrase seductor and deceiver of the people.
