Canopic, a.|kəˈnəʊpɪk| [ad. L. Canōpic-us, f. Canōp-us a town of ancient Egypt.] Of or pertaining to Canopus. Canopic jar, Canopic vase: a vase used in Egypt, chiefly for holding the entrails of embalmed bodies.
