‖ cantoris|kænˈtɔərɪs| [L., genitive of cantor cantor.] Of or belonging to the cantor or precentor; cantoris side, cantoris stall, the side occupied by the cantor, the north (exceptionally, the south) side. In Music used to indicate that side of the choir in antiphonal singing. (Correlative to decani.)
