serpentarium, n. orig. and chiefly U.S.|sɜːpənˈtɛərɪəm| [f. serpent n. + -arium.] A building or enclosure in which snakes (and other reptiles) are confined, as for public display or observation; a snake-house or reptiliary. Cf. ophidiarium n.
