‖ celebret|ˈsɛlɪbrɛt| [L., = ‘let him celebrate’, 3rd pers. sing. pres. subj. of celebrāre to celebrate.] A document, signed and sealed by a bishop, giving a priest permission to say mass in a certain parish.
