quantic Math.|ˈkwɒntɪk| [f. L. quant-us how much + -ic.] A rational, integral, homogeneous function of two or more variables. A quantic according to its dimensions is a quadric, cubic, quartic, etc. according as it is of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. degree; and is binary, ternary, quaternary, etc. according as it has two, three, four, etc. variables.
