chivalresque, a.|ʃɪvəlˈrɛsk| Also chev-. [cf. mod.F. chevaleresque, It. cavalleresco, Cat. caballeresc, Sp. caballeresco; f. chevalier, cavallero, etc.: see chevalier, and -esque.] Wearing the garb, manners, or spirit of chivalry.
