shubunkin|ʃuːˈbʌŋkɪn| Also Shubunkin. [Jap., f. shu vermilion + bun portion, division + kin gold.] A goldfish, Carassius auratus, that is multicoloured with black spots and red patches and has elongated fins and tail.
