circumscissile, a. Bot.|sɜːkəmˈsɪsɪl| [f. as prec., after scissile, L. scissilis.] Name for a form of dehiscence in which the seed-vessel (pyxidium) opens by a transverse circular line, so that the upper part comes off like a lid.
