‖ silbo|ˈsɪlbəʊ| Also Silbo. [Sp., = a whistle, whistling.] A form of whistled Spanish used by the inhabitants of Gomera in the Canary Islands, in order to communicate across long distances. Also known as Silbo Gomero.
