quinetum Med.|kwɪˈniːtəm| [f. quina + L. term. -ētum taken as = ‘a collection’: named by Dr. De Vrij.] A mixture of febrifugal alkaloids obtained from red cinchona bark, used in India as a cheap substitute for quinine; cinchona febrifuge.
