1. A coin. quinyie-house, the mint. rare.
1596Dalrymple tr. Leslie's Hist. Scot. viii. 97 To lat stryk a brassin quinȝie. Ibid. x. 350 Onything that in his tyme he had spendet in the Quinȝehous.
2. A corner. quinyie-stane, corner-stone.
