collargol|kəˈlɑːgəl| Also collargolum. [a. Ger. collargol (Chem. Centralblatt (1900) LXXI. i. 144), f. colloid + Gr. ἄργ-υρος silver + -ol.] A colloidal preparation of silver used as an antiseptic.
