skolly S. Afr.|ˈskɒlɪ| Also scolly, -ie. [a. Afrikaans, prob. ad. Du. schoelje scoundrel, rascal.] A Black or Coloured African hooligan, gangster, hoodlum; a vagrant. Also attrib., as skolly boy. Hence ˈskollydom, the condition or activity of a skolly; ˈskollyism, the way of life of a skolly.
