‖ compos mentis, adj. phr.|ˈkɒmpɒs ˈmɛntɪs| [L. f. com- + potis powerful, master.] Having control of one's mind, in one's right mind. Also simply compos: more frequent in non compos (see non compos and non compos mentis.)
