† comˈprisor, -er Obs. rare. [f. comprise v. + -er1: the form -or, -our, in the suffix is by association with words from Fr. or Latin.] 1. Sc. Law. One who ‘comprises’ or attaches the land or goods of another. (See comprise 1.)
