slounge, v. Sc. and north. dial. Also 7– slunge, 9 sloonge. [Cf. lounge v.] intr. To move, or hang about, in a lazy or slouching manner. The n. slounge or slunge, a slouching fellow, idler, etc., is also current: see the Eng. Dial. Dict.
