conico-|ˈkɒnɪkəʊ| before a vowel sometimes conic- [Gr. κονικο-], combining form of conic a., joined adverbially with adjectives denoting shape: = Conically-, with a tendency to being conical; as conico-cylindrical, conically-cylindrical, nearly cylindrical, but slightly tapered like a cone; conico-hemispherical, nearly hemispherical, but with a tendency toward the conical; so conico-elongate, conico-ovate (conic-ovate), conico-subulate.
